The Holocaust is a really sad and scary part of history. It shows us what can happen when people hate others and stay silent. Six million Jewish people, including men, women, and kids, were treated really badly. And there were also millions of other people who suffered too. Each number represents a real person with a face, a story, and a family that was torn apart forever.
Even though the Holocaust was terrible, we can still admire the people who survived. At ACISS, we remember those who died and the important lessons they teach us.
Their stories should make us feel more caring and make us want to fight against unfairness, prejudice, and not caring about others.
May we never forget, so that history is never allowed to repeat itself.
