The Men’s Forum of the Africa Community in Surrey and Sussex had a focus meeting at the Horley Community Centre last February 25th
The focus meeting with a theme Stack the Deck brought into focus the challenges of men in the community
Issues such as health, personal development, finances and integration came to the front burner
The men were joined by Cllr Richard Biggs, Adam Connelly of the Surrey Health watch, Dr Tom Ruston a GP Partner from Birchwood Medical Practise and Tony Freeman who is the community Development officer for Horley
It was an opportunity for the men to discuss freely about issues that affect men in the community. It was a No holds barred session
Then men finished with a meal of jollof rice
Please join us next time as we bring another focus meeting near your doorstep
